The major Festivals and holidays in Singapore reflect a lot on the Cultural and the religious diversity of the Country, you can see the Chinese will be celebrating festivals like Chinese Lunar New Year, Vesak Day, Qingming, Hungry Ghost and Mid Autumn and so on ……..

For the Malay it include festival like Hari Raya Puasa and Hari Raya Haji . You will see more festivals like Deepavali, Thaipusam, Navarathiri, Christmas Day And Good Friday celebrate by the Tamils and the Eurasian. And not all these Festivals are given a public holidays. The most important holiday for Singapore is Our National Day on 9 August.

I love the place so much, we not only got chance to celebrate our own Festivals but we also able to enjoy other ethical group special festivals. During the Hari Raya holiday we use to be invited by our Malay’s friend to visit their house.
