Esplanade on the Bay

Esplanade on the Bay is Singapore later Art center and it located beside Singapore River and very near business district. You can find other attractions near by – Merlion status at the Merlion Park, Asia Civilizations Museum and the entertainment district like Boat Quay and Clark Quay.

Singapore is not just a financial hub we know about but it also becoming one of the most influential cities of culture in this regional.

If you tell the taxi driver you wanted to go to the “Esplanade”, without doubt he will replied you “Where har??? You want to go to the Durian.” What a funny expression.
Anyway you won’t miss the magnification DOME shape architecture building on the Marina bay

It up to your own decryption whether the building look like “Durian” or “Microphone” and other…….
It not only a place for beautiful pictures taking but it is an arts center. The performing arts centre is located on 6 hectares of the prime waterfront.

Great place to stroll! You can find sitting bench along the riverside. It looks ever more beautiful at night so don’t forget to bring along your camera.

This museum offer postal artifacts and interactive displays on collection of stamps, stamps design and printing.If you like stamps I believe this is the right place for you. Other highlights include collection of stamps from over 180 countries.

The is Asia’s Only Philatelic Museum and it located at Coleman Street former buildings of Anglo-Chinese School Built in 1904

Singapore National Museum

This is a very good museum to visit and it provide lots of information and I really enjoy this museum a lot. There are number of display cases showing scenes throughout Singapore’s history with a brief explanation of what is happening.The recent renovated Museum has a lot more to offer to everyone. The new Museum has a new 2,800sqm History Gallery which will adopt a story telling approach to present the from the 14th century to the modern day to the visitors.

Beside this, the offers some amazing films focuses on history aesthetic and cultural contexts screening in their cinematic. So keep a look out for what new shows to be screen.

If you are New to , I suggest you join the Museum guided tour and is totally free. The tour will introduce you to the magnificent Building of the Museum and adding to this the tour will bring you around and highlight to you those sculptures done by our local talents.
