Bum Boat @ Singapore River
I took this picture couple of weeks ago but i likes this picture very much that why i post it. This picture was taken on the Anderson bridge ( i think so ), I waited the the bum boat approaching before it cross the bridge and disappear then shoot through the bridge in order to frame the bum boat, the skyscraper and the river in one. Singapore River and the skyscraper look beautiful at night.
Visit the Singapore zoo during Chinese New Year
Finally back to office. My family and i went to visit the Singapore zoo during the second day of lunar new year. I like going to the zoo and my kid just love the seeing all the animals, especially the cheeky monkey. The Singapore Zoo is a huge place and you really can spent a whole day at the zoo. MICA Building and the cross road night scenery
This picture was taken on Saturday night during my photography field trip for night shooting. The intention was to taken the picture as the night fall before the sky turn black. My instructor told us that the most beautiful moment is the dark blue sky before the sky turn totally dark and it happen within few minutes. I've planning for some time wanting to to go down town to Orchard road to do some night scenery shooting. After the night shooting lesson i eager to try shooting Orchard road during the night. Here is a post follow up from the previous. I've plan to for the Singapore River Cruise and this is my 3rd time. Taking the bum boat cruise is a breath taking experience, not only let you see the city from the unique views from the River and allowing you to engages the transformation between the historic and the modern Singapore together. Historic District Kampong Glam
Hey! i got my new lens and want to try out the Fisheye effect and so i drove down to Kampong glam for some shooting. Kampong Glam has a very beautiful Mosque built 1826, Call the Sultan Mosque. Many tourists come and visit the mosque, not far from the Mosque is the famous street - Arab street. The coming of Ox year the night bazaar at china town
Last 2 days ago, i brought my family to the china town night market. Every year during the coming of Chinese New Year and this year is the OX YEAR. The Organizer will put up a flea market or night bazaar selling all sort of New Year ’s goodies. If you interested about the history about Singapore China Town you can drop by to the Singapore heritage Center and learn more about Our history. Chinese New Year is part of Singapore culture and we celebrate with our friends from different culture, the important thing is that everyone got to rest during the Chinese new year, in Singapore as it is a public holiday for everyone. If you are coming to Singapore for Holiday during this period and maybe you can visit The China town. i suggest that you take the MRT, it is more convenient.
