At the early day, is mainly owned by the Hainanese due to the fact when the Hainanese was working for the British during the colonial era; they manage to acquire the skill of coffee brewing from the British. And so on, brewing skill has been passing down generation after generation.

Where can you find coffee shops in Singapore?

Coffee shops normally located at residential area or at the ground floor of those old 2 storey shop houses. Not much of variety compare to hawker centre.

Remember to order a cup of black local coffee serve with porcelain cup and two slices of breads to go with it if you there!
