MICA Building and the cross road night scenery
This picture was taken on Saturday night during my photography field trip for night shooting. The intention was to taken the picture as the night fall before the sky turn black. My instructor told us that the most beautiful moment is the dark blue sky before the sky turn totally dark and it happen within few minutes. Historic District Kampong Glam
Hey! i got my new lens and want to try out the Fisheye effect and so i drove down to Kampong glam for some shooting. Kampong Glam has a very beautiful Mosque built 1826, Call the Sultan Mosque. Many tourists come and visit the mosque, not far from the Mosque is the famous street - Arab street. I've planning for some time wanting to to go down town to Orchard road to do some night scenery shooting. After the night shooting lesson i eager to try shooting Orchard road during the night. I park my car at china town multi carpark and take a train to Orchard, Alight at Orchard station and after coming from the station then i realize that i was outside the ion shopping mall. Bum Boat @ Singapore River
I took this picture couple of weeks ago but i likes this picture very much that why i post it. This picture was taken on the Anderson bridge ( i think so ), I waited the the bum boat approaching before it cross the bridge and disappear then shoot through the bridge in order to frame the bum boat, the skyscraper and the river in one. Singapore River and the skyscraper look beautiful at night.

Here is a post follow up from the previous. I've plan to for the Singapore River Cruise and this is my 3rd time. Taking the bum boat cruise is a breath taking experience, not only let you see the city from the unique views from the River and allowing you to engages the transformation between the historic and the modern Singapore together. Visit the Singapore zoo during Chinese New Year
Finally back to office. My family and i went to visit the Singapore zoo during the second day of lunar new year. I like going to the zoo and my kid just love the seeing all the animals, especially the cheeky monkey. The Singapore Zoo is a huge place and you really can spent a whole day at the zoo. I visited the Singapore Zoo last Year but every time I'm there, I'm still get very excited about it. I thinks it because it the only holiday I can spend real quality time with my kid and my wife. Singapore icon, Getting to know Raffles hotel !
Raffles Hotel is a colonial style hotel, known for its luxurious accommodation and superb restaurants. Within the hotel it has a tropical garden courtyard, museum, and Victorian-style theater call jubilee.
To Many Singaporeans and travelers, Raffles Hotel was remembered of the 1970s. Taking a trishaw ride to the main door and walk through its spacious ballroom and enjoy a “must have” pink gin sling. Singapore Sling was invented by bartender Ngiam Tong Boon around 1910 from Raffles hotel.
In the eyes of the tourists Raffles Hotel was a charming, Tropical, Unique colonial building.
But in1980s the hotel was closed for major renovation and the hotel really need a new facelift at that time. Little did we know, Raffles hotel went through many major decision before the renovation. The hotel was re open on September, 1991 after a facelift of S$160 millions. Today the Raffles Hotel has a private in house guest area and a public area where group of tourist can have lunch or tea and to buy a Raffles T-shirt.
